A Unique Adventure

Join "I Wanna Iguana Hunt" for an unforgettable, guided eco-adventure by boat, where you can actively help manage the growing iguana invasion in Florida. These non-native reptiles, originally from Central and South America, have become a significant threat to the state’s delicate ecosystem. With few natural predators in Florida, iguanas have thrived, causing widespread damage to native plants, wildlife, and infrastructure. Female iguanas can lay up to 80 eggs per year, making it difficult to keep up with their rapid population growth.

Iguanas pose a particular threat to native species like the endangered Miami Blue Butterfly, whose primary food sources are being destroyed by the reptiles. Beyond wildlife, iguanas wreak havoc on landscaping, burrow under roads and buildings, and can damage seawalls.

Nothing goes to waste from your hunt! Post-hunt, Iguanas can be prepared for a delicious meal as a "cook your catch", used in taxidermy to create unique souvenirs, or repurposed as bait for crab traps.

Our expert guides ensure a safe, exciting experience while promoting responsible wildlife management. Whether you're an experienced hunter or new to the sport, this is your chance to make a positive impact on Florida’s environment and its native species. Join us to fight the iguana invasion—one hunt at a time!

My family were looking for something fun that we have never tried while visiting The Keys. This is it!

I Wanna Iguana took us out for some fun, family-friendly shooting and snorkeling. Definitely recommend!
